BREAKING: Warrenton Planning Commission Indefinitely Postpones Amazon Data Center SUP Application

On Tuesday, November 22 (at the continuation of the suspended November 15 public hearing) The Warrenton Planning Commission voted unanimously to indefinitely delay a public hearing on Amazon’s application for a SUP (special-use permit) to build a massive data center in a residential Warrenton neighborhood. This was largely a result of the of the Amazon SUP lacking any credible study on the impacts of the noise it generates on the community. For more on this development, read the reporting in Fauquier Now.
