URGENT: Planning Commission Public Hearing to Occur Tuesday, November 15 at 7pm

The Planning Commission unexpectedly gave notice they will hold a public hearing on the Amazon SUP application on Tuesday, November 15 at 7pm at Town Hall.

It was unexpected because at an October 25 PC Work Session, several Planning Commissioners criticized Amazon's application as incomplete, deficient, and even untrustworthy.  At that Work Session Amazon put forth significant changes in building design, electric power service plans, and engineering underway to attempt to comply with noise standards -- but could not answer questions on a myriad of specifics.  Surprisingly, the Planning Commission Chair, Susan Helander, was absent.

Protect Fauquier leaders believe the unexpected scheduling of the public hearing is in order to force the Amazon decision forward for the Town Council to act in December, despite the host of unresolved questions and incomplete information.

Protect Fauquier leaders are sending emails to the full membership with more information and ways to have your voice heard.
